Michiel Dehondt is a passionate musical jack-of-all-trades.

 

In 2011 he obtained his Master's degree in percussion and teaching diploma at the Royal Flemish Conservatory of Antwerp.

 

Michiel is active as a drum & percussion teacher in his own Drumstudio. He is also a freelance drummer & percussionist. Among others L'Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, The Royal Band Of The Belgian Navy, I Solisti Del Vento, ChampdAction and many bands are on his record.

 

His passion for music also translates into writing. In addition to numerous arrangements, Michiel writes music for musicals, jingles and numerous compositions for drums & percussion.

 

Michiel also has no problem developing complete shows. His Oostende Zingt! has become a household name in his hometown.

 

Since 2011 Michiel teaches Music & Aesthetics in Secondary Education. Because of his passion, extensive experience and progressive innovation, he is often invited to give further training, workshops and webinars throughout Flanders.
